Weekend workshop for beginners

Description

April weekend workshop

£170.00

The weekend is for total beginners as well as those who would like to dedicate a bit of time to focus on a project and improve their pottery skills.

On the first day you will learn how to throw pieces on the potters wheel and use hand building techniques.  The following day you will also learn to trim, add handles, glaze and decorate your work.

Your work will be kiln fired for you to collect few months after the class.

The workshop is £170pp plus the cost of materials at £6/kg dry weight. That works out at around £2 per pot and you will only be charged for work you make that is fired.

After taking this class you will be welcome to join the evening drop-in sessions to continue learning and develop your skills.
