Birnam Arts cafe - filled with sunlight, Calum Otto Photography

Open

Wednesday to Sunday
10am - 4pm

Café

Located in the heart of Birnam Arts, our café is the meeting place and gathering space for everyone, from local friendly faces to new visitors from far and wide.

We offer a selection of homemade cakes, local ice creams from Stewart Tower Dairy, scones & refreshments every day with a breakfast and light lunch menu being served from Wednesday to Sunday. Gluten free & vegan options always available.

Menus

We choose thoughtfully sourced ingredients that include Scottish grown and harvested produce wherever possible.

We prefer to support local farmers and small businesses including the Taybank Growers Coop, Stewart Tower Dairy, Dunkeld Smoked Salmon and ARAN Bakery. The food scene in Dunkeld and Birnam is becoming a go-to for food lovers and we're proud to be part of the story.

All our dishes are made in house with a real love for what we do. Each cake is baked in our kitchen, and always with a selection of vegan & truly gluten-free treats too.

Birnam Arts has been host to great memories and moments, from dancing my heart out at weddings to speaking at conferences to enjoying wonderful music ... this place does it all and is an important hub. We look forward to the time we can enjoy BA to its full once again.

Such lovely memories of coming to Birnam as a wee one, visiting the garden and the exhibition then exploring the woods that inspired Beatrix Potter.

Star Star Star Star Star

This is a lovely light and welcoming building with a cafe and library during the day and some really excellent concerts and shows of all genres mostly in the evening. It's an intimate space but with capacity for several hundred people and tends to be competitively priced. It relies on volunteer support and is an excellent community hub.
