We invite you to visit the Auditorium for an evening of theatre, comedy or music; to attend a workshop in the Studios; to immerse yourself in the latest Gallery exhibition; and to learn about Beatrix Potter, her much loved characters and historical ties to the area.
Visit our café for one of Italy's favourite coffees - Illy, a freshly-baked sweet treat, or one of our other wonderful menu items make using the best of locally grown and sourced ingredients. The cafe is the go-to meeting place and gathering space for both local faces and new visitors from far and wide.
Our Gift Shop sits nestled between the cafe and the Beatrix Potter exhibition displaying a thoughtfully curated selection of gifts sourced both locally and from throughout Scotland. From the Gift Shop, you’re welcome to follow the steps leading down to the Beatrix Potter Garden before going on to explore the rest of Perthshire.

The Birnam & Dunkeld Station is a 5-minute walk to Birnam Arts. You can catch a Scotrail service from Perth to Birnam & Dunkeld Train Station in 20 minutes.
Birnam Arts is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Dunkeld. Head over the historic Dunkeld bridge and past the orchard. At the end of the road, turn left into Little Dunkeld past the statue of Niel Gow. In a few minutes you will be in the heart of Birnam village. You will find us on the right as you pass the Beatrix Potter Garden.
By car, it takes 1hr and 30 minutes to arrive from Edinburgh, and 2hrs by bus or train.
If you come from Glasgow, the car journey is about 1hr 20 minutes, and 1hr 30 minutes by bus or train. Follow the A9 until you see the sign for Birnam, turn right and follow the road into the village. There is on-street parking on Station Road outside Birnam Arts.
You will find us just off the A9 North. Following recent dualling, the journey is about 20 minutes from Perth, 50 minutes from Dundee and 2 hours from Aberdeen. Turn right at the Birnam signpost and follow the road into the village. There is parking on Station Road outside Birnam Arts.
Follow the A9 South for approximately 1hr 50 minutes and turn left at the Birnam & Dunkeld turn off. As you come round the corner, take the next right and follow the road until you reach Birnam. There is parking on Station Road outside Birnam Arts.

There are two dedicated accessible car park spaces directly in front of the venue. There is a gentle slope from street level up to the accessible entrance.
Using the touch pad, enter via the large glass doors to the right of the main entrance.
There are two Accessible Toilets within the venue, one on each level.
There are ramps situated throughout the building to enable easy access from the Café to the Box Office and Shop, as well as on the first floor to go from the Gallery to the Meeting Room.
There is a lift between the ground level and first floor.
