The Birnam Book Festival returns to showcase literature from Scotland and beyond in our beautiful corner of Perthshire, nestled between the hills and the River Tay.
Our Festival is an inclusive event for all ages, where the audience can participate in workshops, lively discussions with authors or just sit back and listen to inspiring speakers or enjoy great music with a literary theme.
We’re delighted to be returning to our home venue of Birnam Arts for in person events again this year.
We have a couple of ways to buy tickets: you can scroll down to look through the list of all the events and search by Families +, Fiction or Non-fiction, Panel discussions, Performances, or search by day. Click on the 'WHATS ON' button to learn more about a specific event or BUY TICKETS to book your seats.
If you already know which events you want to go to, you can clink on the link in the banner and go straight to a summary listing of all the ticketed events. It is your choice.
Each ticket has a £1.50 booking fee.
