Join Cameron for an evening talking about how his love of the countryside developed and why we should all take an interest in its future.
Cameron McNeish is a Scottish wilderness hiker, backpacker, mountaineer, and authority on outdoor pursuits. He is best known as an author, broadcaster, magazine editor, lecturer and after dinner speaker, as well as being an adviser to various outdoor organisations.
He was born and brought up in Glasgow and did much of his early walking as a youth in the Campsie Fells.
As his confidence grew, he moved further afield to bigger mountains, and has hiked, backpacked, skied and climbed in many of the remote places in the world.
Cameron completed his first round of the Scottish Munros in 1991, his second round in 1996 and a third round in 2008.
The second part of the event will feature a Q & A session with the audience, where you will be welcome to ask him questions.
Cameron has been Patron of PKCT since summer 2021.
This evening is kindly sponsored by Dunkeld House Hotel, as a fundraiser for Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust (PKCT).
