The Birnam Arts Ballet School has been holding classes for children and adults since 2003, and is a well-loved feature of Birnam Arts.

Description

Classes for children and adults take place in the Birnam Arts auditorium or Dance Studio on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursday evenings.

There is also a class for adults – Ballet for Wellbeing – held on Monday mornings from 10.30–11.30am via Zoom (spaces available).

While there is currently a waiting list for some of the younger groups and evening adults class, some spaces for children aged 7 and over are available. Cost is £4.50/ £5.00 per session payable by the term.

Our two instructors – Emma Gray and Kelly McCole – are both Royal Academy of Dance Registered teachers.

Highlights

Pop in to the Foyer Cafe for breakfast, grab a delicious coffee with a selection of our homemade baking or enjoy a light lunch whilst browsing on the free WiFi. Wander upstairs to view the latest of our monthly art exhibitions before visiting the world of Beatrix Potter, or the Gift Shop to purchase a special gift for your loved ones or yourself!

Star Star Star Star Star

I have enjoyed taking part in events such as Scots Opera before we came to live in the area. Since then we have enjoyed both attending events and the splendid cafe In the foyer. It is a brilliant example of a local/regional community arts initiative and must not be allowed to falter.
