Comedian and historian Daniel Downie, creator of the acclaimed ‘Mountebank Comedy Walk of Edinburgh’ and ‘Mountebank History of Scotland’ series brings his acclaimed show ‘Hour of Scotland’ to Dunkeld this summer. Hour of Scotland is a show about Scotland’s history, culture, people, language, weather – all things Scottish basically! Daniel aims to showcase Scotland’s best historical characters and stories; you’ll learn and laugh about everything from William Wallace to Susan Boyle! So come along and laugh a lot while you learn a little! *no liability is accepted for those guests who die laughing!

Our cafe will close at 2.00pm to allow our water to be turned off and leaking pipes fixed by our wonderful local plumber.
We will be open from 10am serving our breakfast menu, hot & cold drinks, cakes and ice-creams. From 12noon we will also be serving our Soup of the Day with the last orders taken at 1.15pm.
We'll be back open as normal on Saturday, 17th May at 10am.
