What to expect from your workshop:
We will be using graphite and charcoal pencils, ink pens for sketching. Looking at what equipment you can use to improve your drawing skills, for blending and shading, how to elevate your skills to the next level. Practice tips to help you developed your skills from beginner level, enabling progress and development.
Using ink pens and what you need to get started. Tips and techniques on how to build texture into subjects, shapes etc for drawing and sketching. Practice exercises to build confidence using pens.
We will spend time looking at what type of paper to use for different mediums, and how it impacts on your drawing. Erasers are an important tool when using pencil, we will explore the different types and when to use them.
Throughout the day Caroline will incorporate picture composition, perspective and how to add depth to your drawings. This is a relaxed and informal workshop, with the emphasis on enabling your progression in drawing.
