90th stathspey

Dunkeld and District Strathspey and Reel Society

4 November 2023

Dunkeld and District Strathspey and Reel Society and friends

warmly invite you to an evening of

Music from Perthshire and Beyond

We’ll be playing a mixture of Traditional and Contemporary Scottish music, in the format of a concert for the first half of the evening, and a family ceilidh in the second half.

To add to our music, we will have beautiful images, projected behind us on stage, depicting places and people associated with the music.

Conductor   Pete Clark

Leader   Sheona Glenville-Sutherland

We are also delighted to be joined by members of the recently formed Dunkeld and Birnam Traditional Youth Music Group, with leaders, Gill Hunter & Karys Watt.

A fun filled evening of evocative airs, reels, strathspeys, dancing, and fun awaits!

Star Star Star Star Star

This is a lovely light and welcoming building with a cafe and library during the day and some really excellent concerts and shows of all genres mostly in the evening. It's an intimate space but with capacity for several hundred people and tends to be competitively priced. It relies on volunteer support and is an excellent community hub.
