Float is a three-hour experience. Your ticket with allow you to come and go as you as want during this time, so you don’t have to worry about arriving later, leaving earlier, or taking a wee break in between.
Why is the baby’s age so important?
There are three main reasons for the strict age limit for the babies coming to Float.
Can I bring my baby’s siblings with me?
You can bring siblings who are aged between birth - 12 months old with you on the same ticket to Float. However, siblings older than 12 months old will not be able to come into the space for health and safety reasons. Float has been designed especially for babies up to 12 months old and is based on research into this age and stage of development. We want to make sure that Float’s tranquil space is a safe and calm environment for you to enjoy with your little one.
What if I am running late on the day?
Float is a durational performance, meaning your ticket allows you access to the space from 10am to 1pm on the day. The performance itself will run through the space a few times over the 3 hours, meaning you can choose when to come along at a time that suits you and your baby.
Can I leave the space and come back?
Yes, you are free to come and go as you need and want to on the day. Your baby may be happy and settled the whole time, or you may need time to leave the space to grab a coffee or snack.
Can I feed my baby in the performance space?
Float’s performance space is breast and bottle feeding friendly, so please stay to feed your baby in the space if you feel comfortable doing so. We will also have space outside the performance area if this suits you better. If your baby is on solid food, please eat this outside the space to avoid any mess or slipping hazards.
I have twins (or other multiples). What ticket should I buy?
If you have twins, triplets, other multiples, or siblings who are both 12 months or younger, then you need only buy one of the two ticket options available and let us know how many babies you will be bringing when you book your ticket. You will not be charged extra for bringing more than one baby under 12 months old.
I bought a ticket while pregnant, but my baby still isn’t born! What can I do?
We would love to see you and your baby bump at Float. Your unborn baby will get as much out of the experience as you do while in utero. They will hear the sounds and feel you relax in the calming space.
