MAGNUS LINKLATER CBE – IN CONVERSATION

25 October 2023

Magnus Linklater is one of the best known and respected journalists in Scotland and the United Kingdom.

His experience as Editor of The Scotsman for many years and continuing as columnist and writer for The Times places him in an exceptional position of being able to relate his experiences and also comment on current affairs.

He will talk about his early life in Orkney and Easter Ross, his father, the author Eric Linklater, his background in journalism, his life in Perthshire married to Veronica, who was a Liberal Democrat life peer, and his views about Scotland today and its political future.

Why not join us early a refreshment at the bar prior to the event’s commencement at 7pm

There will be a 15 minute interval followed by a question and answer session.

Proceeds in aid of Alzheimer Scotland and Playlist for Life. Sally Magnusson MBE, founder of Playlist for Life will be in attendance.
