Neon Waltz

Neon Waltz

20 April 2024

A four-piece indie band with a rich, melodic, 60s influenced sound.

Neon Waltz’s debut album ‘Strange Hymns’ was released in 2017 to critical acclaim and was followed up by the similarly lauded ‘Bring Me To Light’ and ‘Huna’ EPs.

During this time, Neon Waltz toured extensively throughout the British Isles, leading to sell out shows (including Glasgow’s iconic King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut) and landing support slots with such artists as Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Coral and DMA’s.

2023 welcomed the release of the band’s second full length LP ‘Honey Now’ (Fierce Panda Records).

Recorded at Freswick Castle in collaboration with Tarek Musa (Spring King) and the legendary Edwyn Collins, the sophomore album showcases the grand, sweeping sounds that typifies Neon Waltz.

This is a lovely light and welcoming building with a cafe and library during the day and some really excellent concerts and shows of all genres mostly in the evening. It's an intimate space but with capacity for several hundred people and tends to be competitively priced. It relies on volunteer support and is an excellent community hub.
