Hailing from a rich Scottish musical heritage, singer-songwriter and guitarist Robin Adams, carries the torch passed on by his parents, Chris and Pauline Adams, the driving forces behind 1970s folk rock ensemble String Driven Thing. Since 2009, Adams has released seven full-length albums, ranging from his evocative debut "Down to Reverie" to his 2021 foray into American Country and Blues, "Wrong Road Home."

“Robin Adams is the best kind of songwriter. He draws you in to his music and once you're in, you'll never want to leave.” - Ricky Ross, BBC Radio Scotland

His career began with a win at the Billy Kelly Songwriting Award in 2009, and his compelling debut album, "Down to Reverie," soon followed. His subsequent release, "Be Gone," garnered unanimous critical acclaim, with The Skinny heralding it as "subtly stunning.”

Robin's gift for songwriting has resonated with audiences far and wide. In 2021, Adams received the Celtic Music Radio Album of the Year award for his album "One Day." The following year, Americana UK lauded his latest work, "Wrong Road Home," with a 9/10 review, asserting that listeners would be hard-pressed to find a more enjoyable record that year or the next.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of John Martyn, Nick Drake and Bert Jansch, Adams has carved out a distinctive niche in the folk singer songwriter landscape. In the words of folk legend Ralph McTell, "If Robin had been on the circuit I was on back in the day, he would already be an underground guitar singer-songwriter star!"

Perhaps the most poignant testament to Adams' talent comes from The Music magazine:

"It might be hyperbole to mention Robin Adams in the same breath as such greats as John Lennon, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young, but his songs are of such quality that you can't help thinking that, like those legendary songwriters, his work will stand the test of time in ten, twenty, or fifty years. While he is writing songs in relative obscurity for the time being, Robin Adams' music will reward anyone who cares to listen to it."
