Charlie Stewart was winner of the prestigious BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2017. Has recently recorded album ‘Thawcrook’ with harpist Rebecca Hill. His other session work has led to working on recordings with over 30 artists to date, Charlie also enjoys performing regularly with a variety of artists including Siobhan Miller, Matt Carmichael and Mischa MacPherson. Charlie is a founding member of the bands Naad-Hara, Dosca and Snuffbox, with highlights as a solo artist including a New Voices commission for Celtic Connections 2021.
Hannah Fisher grew up a stone’s throw from Niel Gow, just a few centuries later. Hannah’s musical career has taken her and her fiddle far and wide including tours with bands Idlewild and King Creosote as well as playing with Karen Matheson and Dougie Maclean. Hannah also enjoys a successful solo career.
Ross Hull is a fiddle player living in Glasgow. After spending 6th year of school at Sgoil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd, he went on to graduate BA Applied Music from the University of the Highlands and Islands. Since graduating, Ross has been playing with bands Ostar Sound and Clydeside Ceilidh Band.
Stella Wilkie grew up in Dundee playing at accordion and fiddle clubs and in dance bands with her father and brother Stella later played further afield and came to appreciate different styles of playing with Shetland becoming her favourite place to play, making many trips there in the last 40 years. Stella plays with Hjaltibonhoga and the REMT Tattoo Fiddlers.
