Autumn Voices in partnership with Birnam Arts presents Tales of Birnam and Dunkeld
This evening sees the launch of a anthology of writing, Tales of Birnam and Dunkeld, featuring recently written and specially commissioned work about the area, past and present.
The book features new work by James Robertson, Jess Smith, Linda Cracknell, Fiona Ritchie, Jamie Jauncey and Jane Archer, and by members of Jane’s writing group for over-60s which has been meeting at Birnam Arts in summer and autumn this year.
The evening is compered by Jane Archer and introduced by James Robertson, with many of the featured writers reading from the book.
An associated exhibition can be see in the café.
Tales of Birnam and Dunkeld has been devised and facilitated by Jane Archer for Autumn Voices.
This event has been supported by the Year of Stories 2022 Community Stories Fund. This fund is being delivered in partnership between VisitScotland and Museums Galleries Scotland with support from National Lottery Heritage Fund thanks to National Lottery players.

Due to staff holidays, on Wednesday and Thursday this week in the cafe we will be serving Soup of the Day from 12 noon to 3pm. As usual, we will be serving serving hot and chilled drinks, cakes and ice creams from 10am to 4pm from Monday to Sunday.
Our full breakfast and lunch menus will be available on Friday and over the weekend.
