Between 22 January and 6th February the Gallery will host an exhibition celebrating the life and work of Cameron Murray. This is the first of two short exhibitions celebrating long-standing friendships enjoyed through en plein air painting, including the beauty of Perthshire.
Cameron Murray (1946 – 2019)
A Perthshire native who also studied and worked in London, Cameron was a teacher of art and student of botany, zoology and geology. Cameron spent his time appreciating nature in all its forms – he was a man of the countryside.
He drew his inspiration from wildlife and the changing weather and seasons for his works in oil, watercolour, acrylic, and pastel.
He has works in public and private collections.
