Dunkeld Community Archives and Chapter House Museum present the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Dunkeld.
Stanley Park will be the centre of the Dunkeld Celebrations with a programme of events in the Arena throughout both days including:
Re-Enactment Groups: Scots at War, Great War Society, Erskine Regiment, 10th Century Warriors.
The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band (Saturday), Blairgowrie Rattray & District Pipe Band (Sunday), Scottish & North Irish Yeomanry (Saturday only), Dunkeld Fire Department, music throughout the day from Craig Herbertson, Munro Gauld and Neil Baillie and a ‘Royal’ exhibition in Dunkeld Community Archive.
Parade – Saturday 4 June | 10.15am
The Parade will leave from the Niel Gow statue, Little Dunkeld, for Stanley Hill park, Dunkeld, including The Vale of Atholl Pipe Band, Dunkeld Army Cadet Force plus The Scottish & North Irish Yeomanry, Jackal & Horses as well as members of the Great War Society, Scots at War, the Erskine Regiment and 10th Century Warriors.
Fancy Dress competition – Sunday 5 June | 3pm
Open to all ages, the judging will be held in the events arena on Sunday at 3pm.
Birnam Institute Players
Birnam Institute Players present a full-length play with songs about the famous writer, Beatrix Potter.
Narrated by Wattie Barbour, the history of Dunkeld's religious past is told in music.
As of 2pm on Sunday 5th June, Tickets will only be available on the door at The Cathedral.
