Grace Stewart Skinner

Thu 4 Jun
20:00 - 22:00
Doors open 19:30

The time has come for Grace Stewart-Skinner to take her award nominated  and critically acclaimed debut album on tour, following its sell-out launch in  May, 2025.  Auchies Spikkin’ Auchie is a concept album effortlessly intertwining  recorded conversation with new compositions to create an ethnomusicological  postcard of Grace‘s wee home fishing village, Avoch

Grace has created a truely imersive live show featuring recorded dialogue, gorgeous visuals of Avoch, and performances from Grace on clàrsach, Rose  Logan on fiddles, Rhona MacDonald on double bass and Ewa Adamiec on  drum kit. By capturing Avoch’s unique dialect of Scots and local stories, it is an  innovative, moving, and beautiful celebration of linguistic and cultural heritage.

Rachel and Holli are a Scottish traditional music duo who first met in 2016 while performing with the Argyll Ceilidh Trail. Now based in Glasgow, the duo have collaborated to create an innovative collection of music that blends accordion, piano, fiddle, and vocals. Their music weaves together traditional and contemporary styles through immersive arrangements that highlight texture and interplay. Rachel and Holli released their debut single, In the Stream, in July 2025, going on to win a ‘Danny’ in the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections 2026. They are currently recording their debut EP, due for release in May.
