One of Scotland’s most celebrated folk singer-songwriters, Siobhan Miller presents an intimate trio concert, accompanied by Heather Cartwright on guitar and Charlie Stewart on fiddle. This acoustic setting is the perfect opportunity to see Siobhan's richly celebrated Scottish folk songs up close and personal.
Awarded Musician of the Year, at the BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards 2025, Siobhan’s musical prowess has earned her numerous and wide-ranging accolades, including four Scots Trad Music Awards' Scots Singer of the Year titles and a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Traditional Track. Her discography boasts five solo studio releases - all of which have been shortlisted for BBC Alba STMA Album of the Year, including her latest, Bloom (2022). Her debut live album was released earlier this year, brilliantly capturing Siobhan’s joyous and cathartic live show, and her masterful balance of a lifelong love of traditional song with modern influences.
Having grown up in Scotland's rich folk scene, Siobhan has been a regular performer at Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival, serving as Artistic Director on a number of high-profile collaborative concerts, and featuring amidst the star-studded line-up of Transatlantic Sessions.
Siobhan's unique vocal style has been honed through collaborations with many of Scotland's top musicians. She has also made guest appearances with the National Theatre of Scotland, spent a season on Broadway, returned to the US for a month-long residency in Boston's Majestic Theatre for the late Brian O'Donovan's Celtic Christmas, and can be spotted on US/UK TV drama Outlander.

Perthshire is so lucky to benefit from such an amazing community, arts and performance venue. I have so many great memories of attending various performances and parties at Birnam Arts! Hoping to attend many more to come! Birnam Arts has a place in many peoples hearts and is an essential community resource.
