What makes music therapy so beneficial for so many people?
Join author Gillian Cunnison as she introduces "The Power of Music Therapy" which tells the stories of very special individuals helped through music therapy—an evidence-based allied health profession—from the author’s experiences of working in the field over the past decade. It aims to explain the reasons why music therapy is so beneficial including for those with brain injuries, dementia, neurodiversity or mental health disorders.
This book launch and reading is for anyone who enjoys music, is interested in discovering more about music therapy, or simply for anyone who enjoys listening to inspiring stories and songs.
After the reading there will be an opportunity for questions, to meet the author and a book signing.
Due to staff holidays, on Wednesday and Thursday this week in the cafe we will be serving Soup of the Day from 12 noon to 3pm. As usual, we will be serving serving hot and chilled drinks, cakes and ice creams from 10am to 4pm from Monday to Sunday.
Our full breakfast and lunch menus will be available on Friday and over the weekend.
