With Illustrator in Residence Kate Leiper. Who do you imagine might live in and around the Birnam Oak? With leaves, lichen, and woody bits and bobs on the drawing table, Kate Leiper guides you on a journey of imagination, to create art inspired by the rich habitat of our ancient woodland. (Suitable for primary school aged children age 6 and above. Limited availability so book early to secure your place. No adult supervision required. Materials included.)

Concessions: feel free to choose one of our lower price brackets (Tier 1 or Tier 2) if any of the following apply to you:
16-25 years old
unemployed or underemployed
single parent
living solely on a state pension

Welcome to Birnam Arts, a boutique multi-purpose arts, conferencing and entertainment venue.
Pop in to the Foyer Cafe for breakfast, grab a delicious coffee with a selection of our homemade baking or enjoy a light lunch whilst browsing on the free WiFi. Wander upstairs to view the latest of our monthly art exhibitions before visiting the world of Beatrix Potter, or the Gift Shop to purchase a special gift for your loved ones or yourself!
I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for everyone's support in the planning and delivery of our Perthshire Artisan's event at Birnam Arts. The space was ideal, the food delicious and it was great to be back in real life!
