One-off woodwind ensemble workshops in Perthshire, specifically intended for adult learners or rusty 'returners' on flute, oboe, clarinet or bassoon. Our programme
includes saxophone workshops and light-hearted 'play-along' events that give late-starter brass or bowed string players access to the Blow & Blast experience too.
Each workshop is a free-standing event, with no pressure to commit to regular attendance, and it popular with those commitments prevent them from participating in a community band or orchestra.

Workshop Bookings and Prices
To reserve a place for any of the standard Birnam, Bridge of Allan, Callander or Crieff workshops, please contact us, giving details of your instrument and experience/ability level (our e-mail address is at the foot of the page). At present, we are happy to accept payment on the day for standard sight-reading workshops. If you would prefer to avoid handling cash, we can e-mail out BACS details or a payment link on request.
Places are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. This also allows more time to plan music to suit each player’s capabilities.
If, after booking, you find you will be unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible as this may mean we have to re-think the music for the workshop. Also, there may be players on a waiting list who would love to be given the chance to take part.

Standard 90 minute ‘sight-reading’ workshops – £20 each
2 hour Saxophone/Brass workshop (Crieff) – £20 each
2.5 hour All at C workshop (Birnam) – £25 each
45 minute Very Easy Puff-Along or Puff-Along Session – £10*

Our mini-orchestra-cum-chamber-group is a mixed ability group for players of instruments pitched in C – flute, oboe, bassoon and bowed strings. Recorder players may also be accepted – please contact us to enquire.
